Etsy Shop of the Week: The Vintage Studio

This week's Etsy Shop of the Week is The Vintage Studio! They have been in my bookmark folder for so long because they always have such lovely selections. Here are a few of my favorites that are available right now!
I'm in love with this perfect tea dress. You could wear a white apron for a vintage Alice in Wonderland look or pair it with pearls and lace gloves and it's perfect for a tea party, picnic, or ladies luncheon. It is so versatile and so pretty. I might have to buy it with my next pay check or regret it if someone else buys it first.
Here's another dress I am in love with. It's the perfect party dress. I really want it because it is truly stunning. I'm torn on whether to buy this or the one above. I could buy both but I don't want to go broke!

I think this is so fun, it's simple but the rhinestones add a touch of elegance and fun. I don't have a red dress in my collection yet, so this is yet another gown I have my eye on.

Then there is this lovely dress. I am a sucker for blue flower and green leaf prints. I think it's perfect.

Fun In Colorado Part 2: Lauren & Jason's Wedding!

This weekend my friend, Lauren, got married. Isn't she the prettiest bride? Lauren and I have known each other since we were really little. We've seen each other at the lake our families go to nearly every summer for the last 15 years. It's so crazy how quickly those years went by. Now we're all grown up. Wow! I am so so happy for Lauren and Jason. I think they're fantastic for each other and they are such kind, caring people, I wish them the complete best.
My cousin, Noah, and I.

Outfit Details: Yellow Daisy Prom Dress- Vintage from Atomic Garage, Silver Flats- Gap, Daisy Headband- DIY by me
I was really excited to have a chance to dress up. Weddings are so great, so I wanted to wear something that was comfortable, pretty, and fun. I adore the daisy details on the dress and I was happy to add yet another vintage piece to my collection.

I decided to do a small beehive hairdo, it's easy, pretty, and my hair wasn't a problem for me when it came to sweating due to heat and dancing. I really love playing with vintage hairstyles and I'm trying to branch out a little more, so I've been practicing a lot.
My cousin, Danielle, was a part of the bridal party and she got the -prettiest- manicure ever. I'd love to get that done at some point.

I'd love your comments and feedback. Thank you!

Etsy Shop of the Week: JL Vintage

I'm starting a new blog feature, every Wednesday I will spotlight an Etsy shop that I have discovered. This week's pick is JL Vintage! They have some really gorgeous selections and I want to share some of my favorite's with you:
These pale yellow flower earrings are so nice.

I have been daisy obsessed as of recent and this pin is so perfect.

These earrings are so gorgeous, it's a shame I can't wear earrings.

This fur caplet is perfect for a glamorous look.

I adore vintage hats and this one has peach colored petals, so lovely.

These earrings have me swooning, I want them just because they're so pretty.

I just love this dress. The pale lilac color, the lace, and that high neckline make for a darling dress that is guaranteed to enchant.

Black & White All Over

Outfit Details: Top- Charlotte Russe, Belt- Urban Outfitters, Skirt- Forever 21, Petticoat- the internet, Stockings & Garter Belt- Victoria's Secret, Oxford Shoes- Aldo
China Glaze in Electric Pineapple
Today my mom and I went to breakfast together at the Cracker Barrel, then went shopping for awhile. We went to the new Trader Joe's supermarket where I attempted their "Bacon the Pig" challenge. I was unsuccessful at finding the pig, but I plan to return soon. My mom bought me a very lovely box of tissues. We went to dinner with Paul, Lexa, & my grandma which was nice.

I've been able to go shopping a little bit since I've started making money, and I've had some luck finding some pretty clothes. I really like bold black and white stripes, so I was happy when I found this skirt at Forever 21. I got my oxfords at Aldo for only $35! I really want to find a good pair of brown oxfords, if you have any suggestions, leave me a comment. I had been searching for a lovely chartreuse nail polish for awhile and while I was waiting on some dinner reservations the other night, I wandered into a Sally Beauty to find the perfect chartreuse shade, on sale for $2!
