Pumpkin Patch

Outfit Details: Dress- Atomic Garage vintage, Bee locket- Etsy, Sweater- Target, Tights- Target, Moccasins- Forever 21, Sunglasses- Atomic Garage vintage, Cat tote- Flea Market

Yesterday I took my brother, sister, and my friend, Mike to a pumpkin patch so we could all pick out pumpkins. I chose a white one to carve and put some flowers from the grocery store in the top instead of replacing the stem. I love autumn and I'm happy it's that time of year.

What are your favorite fall activities?

Recipe: Berry Power Smoothie

What you will need: 2 bananas, 2 granny smith apples, 1 navel orange, a handful of spinach, 1/2 cup of blueberries, 1/2 cup of blackberries, 1/2 cup of raspberries, 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup ground flax seed, & 1 cup of water.

First blend the oats and flax seed with half a cup of water. Then add spinach and remaining water. Blend on high until everything looks smooth. Next add your berries and blend on high.
Cut up your remaining fruit into small pieces and add to blender a handful at a time. Blend on high until all ingredients are liquid.

Pour and enjoy!

This smoothie is really delicious and super healthy. The berries take the spotlight here, affecting the taste and color. I like to use oats to thicken the smoothie and the flax seeds are a great way to increase your daily fiber and add Omega-3s and antioxidants. You can add honey for extra sweetness. That is what I usually do, but I was all out of honey this time. This recipe makes about 3 or 4 glasses, which for me is great because I like to store what is leftover in the fridge for late night snacks and breakfast.

Then you will need to measure out about 1/2 a cup baking soda

Grate both the Fels-Naptha bar and the lavender soap bar into the mixture and stir until evenly mixed.
