It was cold and windy today, I didn't do too much, just ran a few errands and spent time with my siblings before they leave for Colorado for a week or two. 

Pretty In Mink

Today I went shopping with my close friend, Robin. It was really lovely to spend time with her and buy myself a couple of lovely things. I absolutely adore my new Alex Marie t-strap pumps. The weather was also really beautiful, a crisp winter day with a lot of sun.

Also, what do you think of my new hair? I love colors and I'm sure that I will go back to them at some point, but I felt like I needed something that took a little less upkeep for a bit.

Dinner Date

Michael took me on a lovely date last night. We went to the Spaghetti works and I ate to my heart's content. Then we went to Java Joes and read Juice magazine for a bit while we waited for The Lift to open, which is this amazing bar in downtown Des Moines. We had drinks with my pal Hannah before heading home for an early evening because this week is the first week of school. Oh my.

Lunch Date

Today in Des Moines it is about 60 degrees! In January! So Michael and I had a lunch date with his mother downtown. I was excited to be able to wear a dress instead of jeans for a change.
