A Day at the Beach

I went to the beach yesterday with my pal, Mike. It was really lovely and the water was warm. We're trying to soak up as much summer as we can before it is over. 

We were trying out a new 50mm lens, I think the shots are beautiful and I only did minimal editing, which is fantastic.

Also, check out my AMAZING haul from antiquing the other day! The vintage sunbeam mixer still works even! My dream kitchen is going to be retro and aqua colors and I was thrilled when I found these gorgeous items. 

I had my first day of school at DMACC yesterday. I'm taking a women's issues class and apparel design concepts. I'm really nervous and excited. Wish me luck!

The light was so incredible this evening.

Today was a very needed good day. I found the most amazingly perfect kitchen set, which I will post photos of later and I signed up to go to school! So I start classes tomorrow! I'm taking a Women's Issues class and an Apparel Design class. I'm really excited and nervous. I hope to transfer to a university by next semester or next year. Wish me luck!

Bad Hair Day Opportunity

My hair was just icky today, so I broke out a scarf! I thought that it looked lovely and I give it extra points because it was useful as well. Small touches can really make an outfit.
