Prom 2008. I wore a vintage Goethe New York gown that I had purchased years prior at an estate sale for only $15. I also wore silver flats from Target that I had bought for $5. This was my favorite prom and I hold many fond memories of it.
Prom 2009. There weren't any good photos of me and my dress in its entirety but I felt glamourous. I wore a vintage gown that I got at Atomic Garage in Valley Junction. The shoes were from Charlotte Russe and I carried a vintage lucite clutch that is not pictured. I wanted to look like Marilyn Monroe.
Prom 2011. I wore a vintage dress that I purchased at a store called Revival in Iowa City. The shoes were from a store in the mall. Headband from Forever 21. My clutch was vintage with a silvery brocade fabric.
As a collector of vintage prom gowns, prom is naturally an exciting event for me! I enjoyed all of my proms and I wish I had more excuses to wear all of the dresses that I own.
